April C. Boykins-Jones (Retired) is a United States Army Combat Veteran; she served over 23 years of active duty, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard until her retirement in May of 2013.  April deployed in support of numerous missions during her tenure, The Gulf War, Bosnia Humanitarian Mission, Hurricane Katrina, and Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan. April has over 20 years’ experience in Law Enforcement with the Department of Correction and Adult Probation and Parole. 

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and is pursuing a master’s degree in health and Wellness.  She served as the Chairperson for Veteran’s Initiatives Committee in addition to being a community activist for veterans with disabilities and PTSD within the workplace.  She is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success.
